Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy. You lead our call process and know the effort and anxiousness we feel. Let us place our faith and trust in your will and take comfort in  your guiding hand. You promise that you hear all who call upon you in prayer. Hear my prayers for guidance and discernment for our Call Committee; for faithful shepherding by a vacancy pastor throughout the process, and for patience, unity, and fellowship as we await and welcome our new pastor. Heavenly Father, hear my prayer for the sake of Christ in your ministry here at Holy Cross. Through your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen

Help Us Serve Our Mission!
Holy Cross is a stable congregation with a vision and plan to move forward spreading the true Good News. Located in suburban Contra Costa County, we have been described as friendly and inviting, are true to doctrine and Scripture, mostly traditional but flexible, and blessed to be financially sound. We have a Christian school (K-8) on campus, budget approval for additional staff and a core of faithful leaders and volunteers we wish to grow to better live out our mission rooted in the Great Commission to serve all generations in our community.
Our new pastor that we seek is energetic, flexible, and evangelism-minded, faithful and true to Scripture and doctrine, with a heart for local mission and outreach who can engage our surrounding community, and the experience or skills to prepare our lay leaders. We have the resources and desire to help our pastor thrive in his new ministry, shepherding and spiritually nourishing our growing flock.
