It’s that time of year!  The annual Holy Cross Oktoberfest is planned for October 24.  Dust off your lederhosen or dirndl and join us for an afternoon of food & fellowship.  Watch for more details to come regarding sign ups and how you can help.

All women are invited to join us for a light lunch, Bible Study, and time of fellowship following coffee hour.  It’s also Mite Sunday, and a great opportunity to support LWML missions.  Wearing purple is encouraged.  Sunday, Sept. 27 is the last day to sign up!  We hope to see you there! Wear purple!

Do you have a relative or loved one (local or distant) who is a college student, in a trade or specialty school, or other secondary education? Serving in the military counts too!  We are compiling a list of young people who have a connection to our Holy Cross family as we hope to reach out to them with an uplifting card/small gift, etc.  Names and details can be submitted to the office by October 15.

You may have noticed the name Jake D. on our prayer list.  Jake is a first year Ft. Wayne Seminary student who has been “adopted” by Holy Cross.  Our 2026 budget has allocated dollars for financial support.  Additionally, we would ask that you keep Jake in your prayers and watch for upcoming opportunities to get involved with sending cards/care packages, etc. to help provide encouragement.
