For adults volunteering to help with VBS, Sunday School, or other activities involving children’s programs, LiveScan registration is required – even at churches. This service, originally planned for May 31 has been moved to June 7, and will take place in the parish hall during coffee fellowship.
We are planning to do a major refurbishment or replacement of the Ygnacio Valley Road section of our perimeter fence this year.
We are also looking for a person or persons to help with the planning. If you have experience with such a project, know a preferred contractor or have ideas to share, you are perfectly suited to help get us started!

Children’s Vacation Bible School is returning to Holy Cross at the end of June in partnership with YVCS.
We need your help in serving our young members and neighbors in ways that are fun for YOU – music, crafts, games, Bible instruction, decorating, even acting! This is the perfect summer energizer!
We hope to have enough full and part time volunteers for a team approach to each activity.
You can sign up on the sheet in the parish hall or use the QR code for online sign up.
NOTE: CA AB 506 requires that adults who volunteer for children’s programs are registered through LiveScan – even a churches. We have arranged for this service at Holy Cross on May 31 to make this easy…and at no cost to you.
As shared in the May edition of Cross Currents, our annual Church Council election is part of the June 14 Voters Assembly Meeting.
Our nominating committee is working to round out our ballot with new members to elect, but don’t wait for them to find you. “Throw your hat in the ring,” to be considered, and share your skills in the stewardship of our church. Contact the church office or Mike Liebe with your interest.
Church Council meets one evening per month on Zoom.
We will be collecting diapers and wipes through Father’s Day to support Options Health. See the clothesline in the Narthex for what is needed.
A reminder that our Tuesday morning prayer group meets in the sanctuary at 9am. All are welcome!
Additionally, our sanctuary is open weekday mornings at 9am for individual prayer or meditation. We have a nice selection of prayer books in the narthex for your use.
